My Week

Moments of Gratitude
I am grateful for
~ weekends with family
~ efforts by my daughter to put some order in the house
~ a mild-mannered and docile pet dog
~ answer keys and teacher's manuals
~ when one of my children make the Rosary call

Praying for
~ The Pope's intentions for October:
People in Despair. That those feeling so crushed by life that they wish to end it may sense the nearness of God's love.
World Mission Day. That the celebration of World Mission Day may help all Christians realize that we are not only receivers but proclaimers of God's word.
~ a better rhythm in our homeschooling days
~ better meals coming out of my kitchen!
~ a closer relationship with our Blessed Mother, especially in this month of the Holy Rosary
~ the well-being of child laborers
~ those who have nobody to pray for them

Pondering
~ on how to spend October meaningfully - daily recitation of the Rosary, studying Church documents on our Blessed Mother, floral offerings, Marian pilgrimages to nearby shrines, a bit of arts and crafts, and if I feel brave enough, Marian-inspired meals.

Around the House
~ trying to declutter slowly, just so the task doesn't get too stressful. My daughter insists that if we have a cluttered house in December, and we go ahead and bring out and display our Christmas decors, they will just look like clutter and not the decors that they are supposed to be. I have to admit that she has a point...

Pretty flower... Praying with you for the Pope's and your intentions.
And we need better rhythm as well.
You are not alone, my friend!

    1. Thank you for the encouragement, Em. Tasks become easier when you know that somebody else is similarly situated :-)
